Job summary

Marcus Gleysteen Architects is a nationally recognized residential firm headquartered in Deep River, CT. We run our small office as a collaborative studio – we enjoy open design discussions and knowledge sharing. We are currently seeking a highly talented and driven Summer Design Intern to join our team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited M.Arch program or a minimum of three years in a B.Arch program (or equivalent).
• Keen interest in custom residential architecture.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated design and visualization ability.
• Prior architectural office experience strongly preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and 3D modeling.
• Project research.
• Production of presentation and marketing materials.
• Participation in design discussions and reviews.
• Assistance with site documentation and occasional site visits.
• General office support.
