Job summary

BNY invites high-potential students to a 10-week Summer Internship Program in Engineering (Data Science). You will engage in Agile projects and gain hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, Java, and related tech while learning about the business and the impact of data science within a global financial services leader.

You will collaborate across engineering and business teams, apply analytical methods to real problems, and build scalable data-driven solutions that inform smarter decisions.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program is preferred.
• Graduation in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (US) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science and analytical methods to real business problems.
• Analyze data, perform profiling and feature engineering, identify patterns and anomalies.
• Build and automate analytical processes, models, and tools to improve decision-making.
• Partner with teams across engineering and business to translate data insights into practical recommendations.
