BNY is offering a 10-week Summer Internship Program in Engineering (Data Science) for high-potential students. Interns will gain hands-on experience with data analysis, feature engineering, and building analytical tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering and business units.

The program emphasizes exposure to Python, JavaScript, Java, CSS, and related technologies, with mentorship and structured professional development.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
• Graduating in Dec 2027or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the countrywhere applying.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science and analytical methods to solve real business and engineering problems.
• Analyze data, perform profiling and feature engineering, and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Build and automate analytical processes, models, and tools that improve decision-making and efficiency.
• Partner with teams across engineering and the business to turn data insights into practical recommendations.
