The San Francisco Chronicle is seeking a Data Reporting Intern for Summer 2027 to join the Data team in crafting graphics-focused stories and data-driven deep dives. The role offers training and mentoring while exposing you to fieldwork and newsroom collaboration.

You'll work on quick-turn projects, learn on the job, and help produce engaging content for readers across digital and print editions. This paid 12-week internship runs June–August, with a $20.50 hourly rate.
