Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union is seeking a dependable and motivated individual for a Summer Custodian position. This seasonal role supports our facilities team by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our parish, school, and visitors during the summer months.

Job Responsibilities

Perform deep cleaning of classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas

Strip, wax, and buff tile floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets as needed

Move and rearrange furniture and equipment for cleaning or summer projects

Assist with outdoor upkeep (trash pickup, light grounds maintenance)

Maintain cleaning equipment and monitor supplies

Follow safety protocols and diocesan guidelines at all times

Ensure respect and care for religious spaces and items

Job Requirements

Prior custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

30-40 hours per week
