Job summary

Koch Finishing Systems is seeking an Electrical and Controls Engineering Intern for a 11-week summer program in Rochester Hills, MI. The intern will collaborate with experienced engineers, work on installation, design, and project engineering tasks, and receive mentorship to learn and grow within a supportive team.

Qualified candidates are pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree with a strong GPA and are willing to travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS Electrical Engineering with strong academic record.
• Familiarity with industrial networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, ProfiNet, etc.).
• Experience or exposure to PLCs and HMI programming (Allen Bradley).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, design, and project engineering tasks.
• Work with engineers to develop and test control systems.
• Gain mentorship while contributing to real-world engineering projects for 11 weeks during summer.
