Job summary

KOCH Finishing Systems invites applications for a summer Electrical and Controls Engineering intern. You will work with an experienced team on installation, design and project engineering, gaining hands-on exposure and learning from mentors.

Candidates should be pursuing BS/MS Electrical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and be willing to travel to job-sites for extended periods. 11-week summer program with meaningful engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS/MS Electrical Engineering degree.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to travel to job-sites for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, ProfiNet, etc.).
• Knowledge of PLC programming (preferably Allen Bradley).
• Knowledge of HMI programming (preferably Allen Bradley).
• Ability to read an electrical schematic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, design and project engineering tasks.
• Work with experienced engineers and receive mentorship.
• Support ongoing engineering projects and documentation.
• Gain exposure to site visits and hands-on field activities.
