Qualifications

• Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields.
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university, taking at least one class in the semester or quarter before the internship.
• Possess or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license before employment.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the assigned project office.
• Positive attitude towards learning and professional development.
• Ethical conduct.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Time management skills.
• Teamwork-oriented.
• Preferred knowledge of route surveying and scheduling.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control (submittals, RFIs, and change orders), and progress reporting.
• Learning and performing project management functions such as estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.
• Understanding and learning construction plans.
• Interacting professionally with clients, managers, and employees.
• Performing other assigned duties.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction/Engineering or related field
