Job summary

Aristeo invites motivated interns to join our Preconstruction or Operations teams in Michigan for a hands-on summer experience. You will learn estimating, scheduling, and project coordination while supporting field personnel on multimillion-dollar projects.

You’ll gain real-world exposure, mentorship, and a foundation for a successful career in construction with perks and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Familiar with construction concepts.
• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Knowledge of estimating, engineering, scheduling, and project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the estimating process, including attending pre-bids and quantity take-offs.
• Assist in developing project schedules and reports.
• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in daily coordination of subs and suppliers.
• Assist with drawing logs, RFIs, and submittals document control.
• Provide assistance to field personnel as needed.

We’re seeking interns to join our Preconstruction or Operations teams who are eager to learn, ready to work hard, and excited to tackle new challenges.

Position Responsibilities:

• Preconstruction:
  • Assist in the estimating process, including attending pre-bids, completing quantity take-offs, and conducting subcontractor bid solicitations
• Assist in developing project schedules and reports
• Operations:
  • Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in the daily coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist with completing document control procedures such as drawing logs, RFIs, and submittals
• Provide assistance to field personnel as needed

Required Skills:

• Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and take direction
• Basic knowledge of construction techniques. Scheduling experience is a plus
• Knowledge of estimating, engineering, scheduling, and project management software is a plus
  

Required Experience:

• Familiar with construction concepts
• Candidates must be junior or senior level students working towards a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university
