Job summary

JM Family Enterprises, Inc. offers a Summer Internship Program (May 24th, 2027 - July 30th, 2027) as a Corporate Community Impact Intern. You will support programs, coordinate events, and engage with nonprofit partners, associates, and internal teams to deliver meaningful community experiences.

You will gain hands-on experience, learn JM Family’s culture and values, and develop skills through learning opportunities, networking events and more.

Qualifications

• Full-time internship with flexible working arrangements per business need.
• Active enrollment as bachelor’s, master’s or other degree-seeking program; must have completed at least one semester.
• Fields of study include Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Management, Nonprofit Management, Information Systems, Information Science, Data Analytics; minors in related tech fields are relevant.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Excel; experience in data management, reporting, event planning, and project management is beneficial.
• Team-oriented, professional, quick to learn, and able to represent the Community Impact team with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of Community Impact programs and events.
• Coordinate logistics, materials, volunteers, and related details; support summer initiatives.
• Collaborate with nonprofit partners, associates, volunteers, and internal partners for successful programs.
• Assist communications to promote events and recruitment efforts.
• Support reporting, data management, and admin processes using internal systems.
• Research corporate giving trends and innovative approaches to campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency while handling additional projects.
