Sanofi in Cambridge, MA is recruiting a 2027 Summer Co-op for the Process Chemistry team. You will assist in designing and optimizing synthetic routes for drug substances in clinical development, employing a range of modern chemistry tools and green chemistry concepts.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a doctoral degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship at application or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to design and optimization of novel and efficient synthetic pathways for drug substances in clinical development.
• Use chemistry tools to develop and optimize commercial processes for drug substance routes (photochemistry, flow chemistry, etc.).
• Plan and execute experimental work to optimize reaction, purification and isolation unit operations.
• Apply green chemistry principles to develop sustainable manufacturing routes.
• Develop/apply analytical techniques for structural characterization (NMR, LCMS).
• Perform data analysis and collaborate with mentors to determine next steps.
• Maintain electronic lab notebooks and document detailed experimental procedures.
• Communicate professionally with team members.
• Ensure lab work follows HSE guidelines and company compliance.
