Job summary

Sharon Center for Health & Rehabilitation, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking a Nursing Assistant Trainee. You will receive hands‑on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents.

This entry‑level position offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. You will attend class, lab instruction and clinical experiences to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill.
• Passion for healthcare and willingness to learn in long‑term care.
• Compassionate and empathetic; able to work with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures.
• Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision.
• Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents.
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well‑being of residents.
