Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with junior year or beyond by Summer 2027.
• Strong interest in civil engineering consulting and learning across project types.
• Willingness to commit to a full-time summer internship (~40 hours/week) starting late May/June.
• Onsite work five days/week in Newport Beach office.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel/Word; exposure to AutoCAD/Civil 3D through coursework or experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to active projects: assist design, analysis, and development of civil projects.
• Build technical skills: hands-on work with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, calculations, and plans.
• Learn from engineers: receive guidance, feedback, and mentorship on real projects.
• Observe sites and fieldwork to relate designs to the built environment.
• Collaborate with team: participate in project discussions and problem-solving.
• Learn the consulting side: exposure to documentation, client needs, and coordination.
