Job summary

E&A Consulting Group, Inc. in Omaha, NE, invites Civil Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 to gain real-world experience within our Civil Engineering Department.

You will assist on residential/commercial development, water resources, and roadway design under supervision, while communicating with clients and team members. The internship emphasizes hands-on project work, exposure to leadership, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program for Civil Engineering.
• Sophomore year required work completed in May 2027.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• General understanding of engineering plans and documents.
• Ability to effectively work independently or with a team.
• Junior year coursework may be completed by May 2027 (preferred).
• Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in the engineering industry or related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to day-to-day workings of the Civil Engineering Department.
• Receive hands-on learning through civil engineering project work, job shadowing, and leadership interaction.
