Job summary

Bennett & Pless Inc. seeks motivated engineering students for a summer internship in our Dallas office. You will design elements within structural systems for diverse project types and coordinate with engineers and designers to ensure client satisfaction.

As a candidate, you’ll prepare Revit/AutoCAD drawings, assist with calculations, and review submittals while learning applicable codes across jurisdictions. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Pursuit of a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design elements within broader structural systems for various project types.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and Revit/Cad Designers to meet client quality expectations.
• Prepare construction drawings in Revit/AutoCAD and assist with calculations as directed.
