An educational organization in Grand Rapids is seeking a Summer Child Care Assistant starting June 2026. This role is part-time year-round with full-time summer hours and requires First Aid/CPR/AED certification. • Assists with program components for the purpose of delivering services that conform to established guidelines
• Collaborates with the Childcare Director and Teachers for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services and/or programs

Essential Functions

• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, county, school and diocesan requirements for operating a childcare program
• Responsible for maintaining harmony and structure.
• Demonstrates knowledge of school policies and procedures.
• Maintains accurate sign-in sheets in accordance with state guidelines
• Implements standards of behavior and discipline for the purpose of ensuring the safety and well-being of students
• Assists with program components for the purpose of delivering services that conform to established guidelines
• Collaborates with the Childcare Director and Teachers for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services and/or programs

Additional Information

• Starting June 2026 (full-time summer/part-time school year); no weekends or holidays
• This is a part-time, year round position presently; must be available for extended breaks—holiday/summer (8 hours/day), snow/weather days and summer months (change to full-time status in the summer).
• Salary Range Commensurate with LAC’s operating budget & experience
