Dow Jones & Company, Inc. is offering a 10-week Summer Internship for a Research Analyst Intern in Houston, TX.

You will work in a global team on strategic, long-term market forecasts for the chemical industry, gaining hands-on experience with data management and analytics. This hybrid role requires at least two years toward a Bachelor's degree (preferably chemical engineering or chemistry), strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, business English fluency, and exposure to Python or R/SQL/MongoDB.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years toward a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluency in English, written and spoken at a business level.
• Experience in Python or familiarity with other languages/tools like R, SQL and MongoDB, desired.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data and content updates and publications together with global team members
• Provide support in gathering and auditing of input and output data
• Help with the creation and set up of internal models and client deliverables
