Job summary

The News Corporation-backed Dow Jones Internship Program invites rising juniors and seniors to join a 10-week summer internship in Houston. As a Research Analyst Intern, you’ll work on long-term market forecasts for the chemical industry, building data models and publications with guidance from mentors.

You’ll gain hands-on experience, collaborate with global teams, and attend professional development sessions in a fully in-office, in-person setting through June to August 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python or familiarity with other languages/ tools like R, SQL and MongoDB, desired.

About the Role:

You will work as part of a global team that is responsible for strategic, long-term market forecasts for the chemical industry. You will support updates of chemical product supply/demand data and integrated long‑term projections using advanced analytics and models, and related publications. Specific responsibilities include data management, participation in the development of new commercial products and product enhancements, and projects to help improve data quality and process efficiencies. You will be part of a core global team and also work with our international product experts.

This role is hybrid, based in our Houston, TX office.

You Will:
