News Corporation's Dow Jones - Energy arm seeks a Research Analyst I for Chemical Market Analytics. You will support market reports, client presentations, and data-driven projects with international product experts.

You will handle Excel-based models, publish reports via CMS, and prepare PowerPoint presentations for meetings. A degree in a chemical field and strong PowerPoint/Excel/BI skills are preferred, with up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

0 to 2 years of related experience.
Degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, natural science or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint; strong Excel/Power BI and/or Python knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Update and maintain graphs, tables, Excel-based models and databases.
Edit and publish chemical market reports from the CMS to the website.
Conduct research and collect data from industry associations and data providers.
Assist with maintenance of the chemical capacity database.
Fulfill data requests and answer client questions.
Create/update Excel graphs and tables for weekly and monthly market reports.
Proof-read and format text written for market reports.
Create PowerPoint materials for client meetings and conferences.
Prepare materials for product expert travel.
Gather and maintain data from external sources for market analysis.
Support operations to improve work processes and standardization.
