Job summary

KidCam Summer Camp is seeking a Leadership Supervisor to be an on-site, hands-on member of the camp leadership team. You will oversee daily operations, programming, and staff coordination while maintaining safety and a positive camp spirit.

The role emphasizes proactive problem-solving, adaptability, and building a strong team environment. You will work closely with Camp Director to manage schedules, behavior, and events, ensuring a memorable and well-run summer experience for campers and staff

Qualifications

First Aid & CPR certification required; certification coordination may occur before camp start.
Experience working with children in camp or recreational settings.
Strong time management and written/oral communication skills.
Experience leading and instructing staff, and overseeing daily camp operations.
Comfort with basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email) and common social media platforms.

Responsibilities

Oversee camp schedules and programming as part of the leadership team.
Coordinate activities and events across various camp programs.
Support aquatics, Extended Care, registration needs, camper behavior, and activities as needed.
Provide coaching and guidance to staff; ensure smooth operation despite changes in plans.
