KidCam Summer Camp is seeking an Assistant Director to support daily operations and staff leadership at our summer program. You will work alongside the Director to ensure camper safety, full engagement, and a positive camp experience, while fostering a high-energy, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include supervising 10–50+ staff, managing behavior, coordinating with families, and ensuring the camp runs safely and smoothly under dynamic conditions.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old by start date.
• Experience in education, recreation, camp management, social work, psychology, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in managing and supervising employees.
• First Aid & CPR certification preferred; training will be coordinated if needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Ability to learn and manage the Kidcam Camp Software System.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily camp operations with the Director.
• Support staff and supervise campers to ensure safety and a meaningful camp experience.
• Manage camper behavior and build relationships with families.
• Lead and mentor 10–50+ summer staff; provide feedback on instruction and behavior management.
• Step in to lead in the Director's shoes when required; ensure camp is safe, organized and spirited.
