Job Summary

The Site Director is the on-site leader and point person for their assigned three-week summer camp session(s). Reporting to the Program Manager (PM), the Site Director (SD) is responsible for facilitating a fun, safe, mission-driven environment for campers, staff, and families while managing daily operations, communications, and supervising the teaching team.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a mission-driven environment for campers and team members
• Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with campers and staff
• Coordinate all-camp activities encouraging teamwork and collaboration
• Observe and participate in workshops, noting staff strengths and areas for growth
• Communicate observations to the PM regularly
• Model Kid Stock NORMS
• Represent the Kid Stock brand
• Troubleshoot daily site issues with critical thinking
• Execute long-term goals and timelines
• Create daily schedules with teaching artists
• Coordinate daily setup and cleanup
• Secure equipment and supplies
• Manage staff meetings and communications
• Ensure safety compliance and oversee show production
• Manage attendance and work as lead instructor when needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years leadership experience, preferably in an educational setting
• Driver’s license and transportation preferred
