Job Summary

As the Camp Counselor, you are responsible for ensuring the safety of the children and demonstrating leadership in the absence of the Supervisor. You must be familiar with approved methods of managing problem behaviors of young children. The role requires courteous interactions and tactful communication with the public. Maintaining cooperative relationships with other counselors, demonstrating professionalism, independence, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of children through constant supervision, including hydration and sun protection outdoors.
• Communicate effectively with parents and inform them of important information about their children, exercising tact and courtesy.
• Supervise children during lessons (golf, tennis, etc.).
• Understand childcare methods and effectively address behavioral issues.

About You

• Capable of lifting children weighing 20 pounds or more.
• Monitor attendance and actively engage with children.
• Minimum age of 17 years.
• Camp experience is a plus.
• Friendly and calm demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
