Position Overview

Summer Camp Counselor - Bright Horizons at the Esplanade
3400 Lacey Road, Downers Grove, IL, 60515

Working under the guidance of the director, you will have the opportunity to impact the lives of children by providing a safe and nurturing environment that encourages their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. You will work with a talented team of teachers and assist in designing and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum according to Bright Horizons Family Solutions and NAEYC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and schedule program offerings; promote the program to ensure enrollment.
• Determine appropriate field trips and make necessary arrangements.
• Review important decisions with supervisors and work collaboratively to maintain positive relationships with parents, children, co-workers, and clients.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times, meeting the physical demands of the position.

Compensation

The hourly rate ranges from $14.65 to $18.20, depending on experience, education, certifications, and location. Actual offers will vary based on these factors.
