We are seeking energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic individuals to join our summer camp team! As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all campers. You will lead activities, supervise campers, and contribute to a positive camp environment.

Job Details

• Hours: 6:30 am - 12:15 pm and 12:15 pm - 6:00 pm
• Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
• Job Type: Seasonal (Summer)
• Reports To: Camp Director / Regional Director

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with campers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Organize and lead various camp activities, including games, arts and crafts, water play, sports, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.
• Encourage participation and positive interactions among campers.
• Act as a role model demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor and manage camper behavior professionally and patiently.
• Assist with meal supervision, cleanup, and other duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including providing first aid and responding to emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with staff, campers, parents, and school partners.

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be 18+ years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, etc.) preferred but not required; we value potential and passion.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before start date.
• Physically able to perform duties, including bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and outdoor activities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, patience, creativity, and enthusiasm.
