Job summary

Greensboro Country Club seeks enthusiastic Camp Counselors for their youth summer camp program, catering to children aged 4 to 12. Candidates should have great interpersonal skills, a passion for working with kids, and preferably prior childcare experience.

• CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided).
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Availability for at least 25 hours per week.

Job description

Job Summary: The youth summer camp program at Greensboro Country Club will accommodate children ages 4 to 12 and offers activities like arts and crafts, group games, fitness, and more! Camp counselors will be responsible for executing camp activities, constantly monitoring, ensuring safety and supervision, and transporting campers to and from program activities like fitness, golf, tennis, and swim.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Instruct and lead planned camp itinerary activities

- Check in campers accordingly each day

- Supervise and monitor assigned group of campers

- Load campers onto busses and ride to and from destinations, ensuring safety and supervision

- Engage with campers in a fun and positive manner

- Create a fun atmosphere for our club's youth

- Other duties assigned by Youth Activities Manager

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Highly positive and enthusiastic style of motivating others and building rapport

- Outstanding interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills

- Previous childcare experience preferred

- A passion for working with children

Minimum Qualifications: - CPR and First Aid Certification (Training provided upon hire)

- Minimum 18 years of age

- Available to work at least 25 hours per week

- Available for work Monday – Friday and some weekends beginning 5-27-24.

Pay range $11-$13
