Job description

Job Title: Summer Camp Coordinator

Reporting to the Head Basketball Coach, the Summer Camp Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for the B.O.K. Summer Basketball Camp at Kelley Park. The role involves managing daily operations, communication with staff and parents, and supervising activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee camper check-in and check-out, ensuring all campers are accounted for before leaving each day.
  2. Manage staff scheduling, including finding substitutes as needed.
  3. Maintain camper records and registration information; communicate regularly with parents.
  4. Organize staff training sessions and meetings.
  5. Conduct interviews and oversee the hiring process for staff.
  6. Manage payroll and handle employee-related matters.
  7. Ensure staff sign in and out daily.
  8. Coordinate evaluations of campers, parents, and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in coordinating volunteers, events, and guest speakers.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

This is a part-time, seasonal position working Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, totaling 20-25 hours per week.
