Job Overview

This is an opportunity to teach children at a Summer Camp in New Hampshire with room and board fully provided.

Responsibilities
  1. Program Planning: Design and organize woodworking projects suitable for different age groups and skill levels.
  2. Instruction: Teach woodworking techniques, emphasizing safety and proper tool use.
  3. Safety Management: Maintain a safe workspace, enforce safety protocols, and supervise campers.
  4. Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and repair tools and equipment as needed.
  5. Camper Engagement: Foster a positive environment encouraging creativity and teamwork.
  6. Staff Collaboration: Coordinate with camp staff to integrate woodworking into the camp program.
  7. Inventory Management: Manage materials and supplies efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Experience in woodworking or carpentry, with the ability to teach children.
  • Previous experience working with children or in camp settings preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards in woodworking.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a woodshop environment for extended periods.

Schedule & Compensation
