Steve & Kate’s Camps in Silver Spring, MD, is hiring staff to supervise campers and facilitate activities from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm during 6/15/2026–8/14/2026 with setup and breakdown weekends and orientation. Hourly wage ranges from $19.00 to $21.50, depending on experience.

Roles include supervising, safety, and helping campers engage in crafts, movement, and games. Responsibilities include maintaining clean spaces, following camp policies, documenting notable incidents, monitoring allergies,

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)

Responsibilities

• Actively supervising campers
• Maintaining an organized and approachable activity space
• Ensuring compliance with Camp Policies
• Reporting & Recording details of notable concerns or incidents, and of injuries to campers, other staff members, or self
• Keeping track and being aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions
• Adding daily updates and photos to campers’ profiles
