Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camps in Charlotte, NC is seeking energetic staff to supervise campers aged 4–12 during the 2026 summer program. You’ll guide activities, promote safety, and foster an inclusive, creative environment.

Hourly pay ranges from $15.50 to $18.00, with setup/breakdown weekend duties and an orientation date. Applicants should be ready to collaborate with a team and engage kids in play and learning.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp.

• You may be asked to chaperone campers on an off-site Field Trip where locations demand.

Responsibilities

• Staff members will be responsible for facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness.
• Some staff members will create and/or oversee activity spaces in which campers will self-select activities, while other staff will work in rotating support roles throughout camp.
• Activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, and so much more!
