Quanta Services, Inc. is offering an 8-10 week Associate Project Manager Intern role at our Sumner, WA headquarters for Summer 2027.

The paid internship provides hands-on experience under project managers across utility construction projects, with exposure to costs, schedules, safety and reporting. The position supports the development of project estimates, cash flows, and scheduling, while emphasizing safety and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled student in a construction management program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to learn.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers to review costs, schedules, safety, quality and completion.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining construction progress reports and files.
• Contribute to development of project estimates, pricing and schedules.
• Create and update schedules, budgets and other project docs.
• Prepare cash flows, monthly billing and assist with change orders for projects.
• Communicate with management, customers, crews and foremen.
• Monitor and report on project health and safety.
• Support a safe, productive project environment.
