Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Summer position
  Must be at least 16 years old
  Part-time or Full-time available (10-40 hrs/wk)
• The Grace Beginnings Assistant Teacher will support the Grace Beginnings Director and classroom teacher with classroom needs.
• Support educational experiences in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as directed, demonstrating understanding of curriculum and faith development goals.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with the Director and classroom teacher.
• Follow directives to maintain high standards and a safe environment.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, organized classroom and complete necessary duties.
• Treat each child and family with dignity and respect.
• Organize classroom materials such as books, toys, and crafts.
• Approach behavioral issues with Christian love, respect, and patience.
• Exhibit Christian values to foster goodwill among all stakeholders.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
