Job summary

ADM is offering a Summer 2027 Architectural Engineer Intern position in Decatur, IL. This 12-week, full-time internship provides hands-on experience in architectural engineering, with opportunities to work on building systems planning, design, and analysis.

Interns will assist with drafting, BIM modeling, and project documentation while collaborating with engineers and construction professionals. Housing and transportation support may be provided to facilitate relocation and transition.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and summer 2029.
• GPA requirement is a minimum 2.8.
• Must have reliable transportation to the work location.
• Willingness to relocate to North America for the internship.
• Available for a 12-week internship from mid-May through early August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and analysis of building systems.
• Support architectural and engineering design efforts for construction, renovation, and expansion projects.
• Assist drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software.
• Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings.
