Qualifications

• Current undergraduate junior with a target graduation date between December 2027-June 2028.
• A strong passion for real estate development.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; with Excel.
• Exhibits an understanding of technical skills and job-specific knowledge.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to tackling tasks and challenges.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
• Pursuing a bachelor's in Finance, Real Estate Finance or Real Estate Development.
• Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial underwriting analysis and due diligence for new affordable acquisition investment opportunities.
• Assist with tax credit applications for the City of Chicago and/or IHDA.
• Track rehab progress on ongoing processes.
• Conduct site visits and assist with asset management of existing portfolio.
• Evaluate operations of properties in our portfolio to provide recommended avenues for improvement.
