Job summary

Syngenta Seeds is offering an Agronomy Research Intern role in Slater, IA, within the Emerging Talent Program. You will participate in daily agronomic activities, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to yield trials for corn and soybean.

You'll study trial design, data generation, and reporting to leadership, with a summer project and exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a supportive, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Agronomy, Horticulture, Ag Business, or another closely related agricultural field of study.
• Understanding and use of modern agronomic practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand how agronomic data is generated to improve seed customers' experience through product placement and positioning.
• Learn fundamental trial design and execution to answer specific agronomic questions.
• Be part of a team responsible for packaging, planting, note-taking, and harvesting yield trials.
