Job summary

Syngenta's Agronomy Research Intern in Slater, IA, introduces you to daily activities of an Agronomic Research Scientist. You will learn how agronomic data is generated to improve seed customer experiences and maximize yield potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Agronomy or related field is required.
• Understanding and use of modern agronomic practices is desired.

Responsibilities

• Understand how agronomic data is generated to improve seed customer experience.
• Assist with trial design and execution to answer agronomic questions.
• Support packaging, planting, note-taking, and harvest of yield trials.
• Assist in pollination and phenotypic evaluations in greenhouses and fields.
• Communicate progress with peers and supervisors regularly.
