Agtegra Cooperative, a leading agricultural cooperative based in Aberdeen, SD, is offering an Agronomy Internship in Harrold, SD for summer 2027. The program provides hands-on experience alongside industry experts within the Agtegra First internship program.

You will support daily agronomy location operations, learn soil sampling, crop scouting, and warehouse procedures while gaining exposure to a range of agronomy practices and leadership networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrollment towards relevant agriculture degree required.
• Enrollment in an agronomy program preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all agronomy warehouse and plant operations tasks.
• Follow label instructions during loading and blending of crop protection products and fertilizer.
• Ensure safe, efficient loading, unloading, and deliveries of products.
• Develop knowledge of maintenance procedures for facility equipment and operations.
• Assist with inventory management and processes.
• Learn from agronomists about soil sampling, crop stand evaluation, tissue sampling, and identifying weeds, insects, and diseases.
• Adhere to safety regulations, policies, and procedures including OSHA and DOT.

Education
