Job summary

Innovative Ag Services is seeking a 2027 Summer Agronomy Internship - Level I in Iowa. Designed for freshman/sophomore students, the role will involve promoting product lines, scouting fields, and providing feedback to the agronomy team.

Interns will communicate regularly with sales and location teams, assist with seed and Precision Ag activities, and submit weekly reports. Training sessions and collaboration with location managers help resolve customer concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Suite; exposure to scouting software and soil scan devices.
• Strong initiative and commitment to completing assignments efficiently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, adapt to change, and juggle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Designed for Freshman and Sophomore students enrolled in post-secondary education.
• Promote the sales of all Innovative Ag Services products and programs.
• Scout assigned producer fields and provide written feedback to the primary agronomist and producer.
• Regularly communicate with sales and location teams.
• Assist with in-season seed and Precision Ag activities as assigned.
• Submit weekly reports of contacts and customer/competitor activity.
• Participate in planned training and agronomy coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with agronomist and location managers to resolve concerns/complaints from customers.
