Job description

Are you looking to gain experience in an international environment? Do you enjoy working with young people and creating unforgettable, culturally enriching events? If so, this role is for you!

At EF Education First, our mission is “Opening the world through education.” We are seeking enthusiastic, organized, and creative individuals to join our team as Activity Leaders. This dynamic role requires energy, leadership, and a passion for building a vibrant student community.

From hosting student parties and sports tournaments to leading day trips and weekend excursions, this high-energy role is as fun and rewarding as it is challenging. You’ll plan and lead activities, excursions, and events that help our international students feel at home on campus and in Miami Beach.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires flexibility, as shifts may take place during the day, evenings, or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and lead a variety of activities, field trips, and excursions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including desk coverage and tour bookings.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external contacts to ensure a seamless execution of activities.
  • Promote activities through word-of-mouth, flyers, and posts in the EF app.
  • Continuously brainstorm ways to improve activity planning and execution.
  • Work collaboratively to create memorable experiences and WOW moments for students.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Who You Are

  • A friendly and outgoing individual who enjoys engaging with people from different backgrounds.
  • Enthusiastic and energetic, bringing positivity to every event.
  • A strong communicator with natural leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, able to handle unexpected challenges with ease.
  • A team player who collaborates well but also takes initiative.
  • Reliable and professional, balancing fun with responsibility.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, ensuring smooth event execution.
  • Comfortable leading activities, social events, and excursions for groups of up to 40 students.
  • Familiarity with the Miami area is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the role working with minors.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with students of varying English proficiency levels.
  • Must hold a valid U.S. passport or work permit (EF does not provide sponsorship).
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Flexible availability (25-40 hours per week).

Why you’ll love working here:

Working at EF is more than just a job-it’s an experience. Our diverse, international team thrives on innovation, collaboration, and a shared passion for education. Ask any EF employee why they love EF, and they’ll tell you: it’s the people that make it special.

In addition, you can expect:

  • Work in a truly international environment.
  • The freedom to take initiative, innovate, and bring your ideas to life.
  • Opportunities for future career growth with EF.
  • Compensation: $15 per hour.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to build leadership, communication, and event management skills while making a lasting impact on students from around the world. After an EF experience, you’ll walk away with great memories, valuable skills, and even the potential to kickstart an international career with EF.

If you’re ready to create unforgettable experiences, apply today!
