It provides exposure to journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, and audits within a real business setting. Interns work on month-end close, capital projects, and financial reporting while collaborating with accounting and operations teams to gain hands-on experience and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Able to contribute independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/quarter-end close.
• Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting tasks.
• Validate compliance, inventory levels, and internal controls for audits.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions.
• Assist with capital projects accounting, fixed assets, and expense reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations to troubleshoot and provide insights.
• Participate in special projects as directed by supervisors.
