HF Sinclair in Dallas, TX is seeking a Summer 2027 Accounting Intern to assist Accountants by performing routine accounting assignments under close supervision. Office based with a range of benefits and opportunities to learn practical accounting processes.

Position requires coursework in accounting/finance and the ability to perform basic calculations, communicate effectively, and use Microsoft Office. Preference for experience with accounting software and revenue accounting.

Qualifications

• Basic accounting analysis and basic mathematical calculations are expected.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting practices.
• Experience with accounting software and revenue accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various accounting statements and reports.
• Reviews, updates, and maintains files daily/monthly.
• Performs accounting and financial analysis.
• Processes credit card file reports.
• Tracks volumes and compares actual vs scheduled volumes by site.
• Make accounting entries.
• Track and enter master file additions and changes, de-branding.
