Job summary

Boeckermann Grafstrom and Mayer in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Accounting Intern for Summer 2028 to gain hands-on experience in audit and tax, with about 30 hours per week from May through August. You will work with real client work, receive coaching, and explore public accounting careers.

Responsibilities include assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, supporting tax return preparation, collecting and analyzing financial data, and communicating findings.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Available to work approximately 20-30 hours per week during the internship.
• Able to work from our Bloomington, Minnesota office during the internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Interested in gaining experience in public accounting.

BGM is looking for motivated, curious, and service-minded accounting students to join our Summer 2028 Internship Program.

Our summer internship is designed to give you meaningful, hands‑on experience while helping you explore what a career in public accounting could look like. From May through August, you'll work approximately 30 hours per week with flexibility to build a schedule that works for you.

As a BGM intern, you won't spend your summer on the sidelines. You'll contribute to real client work, gain exposure to both audit and tax, and work alongside professionals at different levels of the Firm. You'll also receive ongoing coaching and feedback to help you build your technical skills, confidence, and understanding of the profession.

And the experience may extend beyond the summer.

Based on performance, career goals, and business needs, successful interns may be considered for future internships or full‑time opportunities with BGM.

What You'll Do

As an Accounting Intern, you will:
