Job summary

BGM's Summer 2028 Internship Program in Bloomington, MN offers motivated accounting students hands-on experience across audit and tax. You'll work about 30 hours per week May–August, with a flexible schedule that supports your academic commitments.

You'll contribute to real client work, gain exposure to audits, reviews, and tax, and receive ongoing coaching to build technical skills and professional confidence. Potential future opportunities may extend beyond the summer.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• Available to work approximately 20–30 hours per week during the internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance engagements.
• Support tax return preparation and other tax-related projects.
• Collect and analyze client information and financial data.
• Assist engagement teams with identifying issues and communicating findings.
• Complete tax research and special projects as needed.
• Gain exposure to clients across a variety of industries.
• Work alongside team members at different levels of the Firm.
• Build accounting and industry knowledge through hands-on experience, coaching, training, and collaboration.
