onsemi in New York is seeking a Wet Process Engineering Intern to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work with Wet Process, Equipment, Manufacturing and IE teams to identify opportunities that improve factory productivity and reliability.

The internship targets Junior or Senior undergraduates in EE, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's in STEM fields listed.
  • Junior or Senior status preferred.
  • GPA 3.0+ preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

We are seeking a highly motivated Wet Process Engineering Intern to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This internship is intended for a Junior or Senior undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

The successful candidate will work closely with Wet Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering teams to identify and execute opportunities that improve factory productivity, equipment reliability, process stability, and manufacturing efficiency. The primary internship project will focus on Tool Alarm Reduction, Preventive Maintenance (PM) Optimization, or Yield Improvement , with specific project objectives determined based on 2Q27 business and manufacturing priorities.

This role provides hands-on exposure to semiconductor wet processing operations, equipment engineering, manufacturing systems, data analytics, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPIs, and performance tracking metrics.

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
