Job summary

onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Student to join our 300mm Post Fab team in East Fishkill, NY as a summer intern in a Module Engineering Team. This Team is critical to our ability to improve manufacturing performance and drive best in class Quality, Cycle-time, and Cost as we develop new products and ramp volume manufacturing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Learn about and help Module Engineers collect data and improve performance of the equipment and processes in EFK onsemi

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Able to work in East Fishkill, NY during the summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Learn about and help Module Engineers collect data and improve performance of the equipment and processes in EFK onsemi manufacturing.
• Develop new process or controls.
• Evaluate and qualify new materials, processes, and equipment for our Post Fab wafer operations.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to improve yield and device performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
