Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Project Engineering intern to support mechanical and process design for water and wastewater treatment systems. You will collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team on custom project designs, ensuring customer expectations, quality, schedule and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include sizing/specification of equipment, hydraulic calculations, and review of P&IDs and PFDs. Full-time availability for Summer 2027 is required, with potential for growth in a global

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with sizing, specification, procurement, fabrication, installation and operation of project equipment (pumps, valves, tanks, instrumentation).
Perform engineering/hydraulic calculations under supervision.
Review drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, equipment, facilities).
Ensure documentation is accurate and consistent across engineering deliverables.
Support project design reviews and issue resolution related to design and construction.
