Job summary

Wind Energy Transmission Texas (WETT) invites motivated students to join as interns in transmission planning and analysis. You will participate in long-term studies to boost reliability and efficiency, and assist with data modeling and evaluating upgrades in line with WETT's expansion goals.

Interns gain hands-on experience, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and exposure to operations, maintenance, and planning in a critical utility sector.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Preferably a junior or senior.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of the regulated utility industry, transmission systems, and power engineering concepts is a plus.
