Job summary

Wind Energy Transmission Texas (WETT) invites motivated students to join our internship program to gain hands-on experience in transmission design and analysis. You will assist with system modeling, participate in design reviews, and contribute to testing efforts that ensure safe and efficient power delivery.

This internship offers mentorship from industry professionals, exposure to operations and planning, and opportunities to develop essential skills for a career in utility transmission.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Preferably a junior or senior.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of the regulated utility industry, transmission systems, and power engineering concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities
