Job summary

onsemi's East Fishkill site seeks an Engineering Intern to support wafer sort operations and analog circuit development, collaborating with engineering and equipment teams on real projects.

You will gain hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing, circuit simulation, and product development, with exposure to cross-functional teams and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Interest in semiconductors, electronics, and hardware development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with equipment technicians to set up and qualify wafer sort equipment for new wafer products.
• Assist with wafer sort process development, troubleshooting, and equipment readiness activities.
• Participate in schematic reviews and support component selection based on design and performance requirements.
• Support evaluation and verification of analog circuitry through simulation and testing.
• Analyze engineering data and document findings, test results, and recommendations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing engineering projects and process improvements.
• Present project outcomes and technical learnings at the conclusion of the internship.
