Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering at an ABET-accredited school.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Draft and design engineering construction documents for custom homes, production homes, remodels, and other projects.
• Completion of a semester long project that will be used in daily design operations of the company.
• Conduct comprehensive wind load assessments for various projects.
• Execute comprehensive project-specific structural analysis and calculations.
• Attend site visits and translate existing structures into comprehensive engineering plans.
• Attend various networking, volunteer, and industry events in a professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering at an ABET accredited school
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be eligible to live and work in the United States

Skills

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus)
• Ability to translate asbuilt conditions to CAD details
• Understanding of basic calculations and using spreadsheets
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF software
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks at once
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
